Description
Our Embarkation Ladders are in compliance with ISO 5489:2008.
Available with two bottom structure options: open-end or closed-end design. In addition to in-stock sizes, we can also fabricate to length if required (min. length of 2m, up to 50m).
Application:
Used by the crew to board a lifeboat or used as access to the life rafts during emergencies.
Product Features:
- MED/SOLAS approved, met the required standards (ISO 5489:2008).
- Steps have non-skid surfaces, secured with sea water resistant aluminium clamps.
- Ropes are not painted, coated or covered, thimbles will be provided.
- Ropes are spliced to top on the ladder.
- All steps are made from hardwood, only bottom 4 steps are made from rubber.
- All ladders are digitally stamped, by scanning the QR code on the ladder’s certificate tag located below the top step and the lowest wooden step, marine pilots can verify the ladder’s authenticity, view the vessel name and access digital copies of all compliance certificates in real time
