Description
An Air-Operated Double-Diaphragm pump (AODD) is a type of positive displacement pump mainly used for transferring a wide range of products from water to highly solid-laden liquids with compressed air. Air continuously flows inside the pump, causing two flexible diaphragms connected to a rod to move back and forth repeatedly. During this constant motion, liquid is discharged from one chamber while filling the other chamber.
Available in different sizes.
Application:
Casing is constructed from polypropylene, which is generally better for corrosive operating environments. Ideal for transfer, filling, recirculation and batching of harsh chemicals that might corrode metal pumps in chemical, industrial and water/wastewater treatment markets.
Product Features:
- Seal-less mechanicals
- Ease of maintenance and repair
- Dry-running without damage
- Durable
- Portable
- Self-priming
- Easy operation
